With just a week until Christmas, the time to start thinking about turkey is well and truly upon us. Whether you like yours with lemon and herbs or simply covered in gravy, get back to basics by basting with butter.
There are endless ways to enjoy turkey, but Lotte Duncan’s Butter baste turkey with lemon and thyme combines the classic simplicity of butter with herbs, and will guarantee a delicious Christmas.
Following Lotte’s recipe on BBC Good Food, simply mix the butter with lemon zest and thyme, and then freeze for five minutes to create a lemon butter. All that’s left to do is lift the skin and baste with the butter for an incredible tasting festive feast!
