Butter Proves Popular as Autumn Sets In

As Autumn draws in, we are seeing more and more appreciation of Butter in seasonal cooking. These great recipes from The Independent prove that as the nights get colder, Butter becomes ever more popular.

“Summer has very definitely faded into autumn and the strong, bright, punchy vegetables and fruit of the sunny season have been replaced by gentler, more earthy flavours – apples, pears, quince, brassicas and roots,” writes Skye Gyngall of The Independent.


And butter plays an integral part in two of her seasonal recipes, Glazed Carrots cooked in butter and sugar, and Leeks Poached in Butter with fresh parmesan and thyme.
