Butter vs Marge
A Tale of Two Spreads
The word and the butter is spreading as Friends of Butter all over the world unite in appreciation of our fabulous 'Tale of Two Spreads'.

Our super cool animation revealing the real story behind the making of butter and margarine, has been picked up by one of the biggest foodie blogs across the pond – New York based SeriousEats.com…

‘Poor Marge. Always living in the shadows of her fattier, creamier predecessor Butter. This video tells the genesis story of the two. For a long time, Marge wasn’t even allowed to be misleadingly yellow—some states went as far as making her pink just so everyone was clear on her butter poseur status. There was a really dark period when bootleg “Marj” was for sale.’

Encouraging followers to learn about the spreadable joys of butter, the Serious Eats blog post has got followers drooling: ‘This made me want some butter, just a stick of butter. YUM!’

If you haven’t already seen it, sit back with some buttered popcorn or a slice of hot buttered toast and a cup of tea to discover the truth, right from the beginning, which simply confirms that real butter is naturally the better choice. And it tastes amazing!

Watch the Tale of Two Spreads in glorious technicolour and show it to all of your friends!
