Nothing like adding a little red, white and blue to your dessert!
The American holiday that celebrates their Independence Day is known for BBQs, fireworks and... cakes!
While a red, white and blue cake is not exactly traditional, it is perfect for the American 4th of July holiday. To prepare for this event, the bakers of America get their butter out and create some of the most impressive, patriotic cakes of the year.
We particularly love this butter sponge cake that looks rather plain on the outside, but has a small surprise inside. Each slice shows off the American flag to perfection!
