Indulge in the Cupcake Craze
Long gone is the British bun, forgotten is the fairy cake, it's time to queue up and behold the American cupcake.
Cupcakes became hot property when the Sex and the City girls claimed them as their chic treat and now everyone wants a piece.
They’re bigger and fancier than any British bun, covered in pretty coloured icing, they’re the ultimate indulgence and a modern day statement. Cupcakes are stacked up to create wedding cakes, they’re a guilty pleasure thought of as ‘edible jewellery’ and they’re at the top of Google’s annual zeitgeist list as the fastest rising recipe search in the UK.
