Strap Some Toast To A Cat…

Believe it or not, there is an entire website dedicated to the “physics” behind this particular conundrum.
According to the site, the cat will always land on its feet (laws of physics) and the toast will always land butter side down (laws of Murphy).
But when you combine the two, a “cat-toast equilibrium point” is reached which means that (due to a variety of forces) the cat will simply end up spinning around its own centre of gravity at an ever-increasing speed.
Apparently this is very similar to how UFOs operate, meaning that any UFO noise you might hear is actually just a purring cat.
The logic might be questionable, but the site is a good read nonetheless!
