World's Largest Gingerbread Man Unveiled in Norway!

Thousands of people across the world yesterday tried to set some of the biggest and most bizarre new records during the fifth annual Guinness World Records Day.

Spectators in Oslo, Norway, watched as the world’s largest gingerbread man, at a whopping 1435lbs, was unveiled by the world’s tallest living man, 8ft1 Turkish giant, Sultan Koesen.

Baked locally in the traditional gingerbread-man shape, with the traditional buttery recipe, it beat the previous gingerbread cookie record of 1307lbs set in 2006 in Smithville, Texas.

It certainly sounds like a tastier way to break a buttery world record than eating seven sticks of butter in five minutes, a record held by Don “Moses” Lerman, a now-retired world champion in competitive eating.
